I live on Broadlands in Sandiacre with my wife and three children. I have served on Sandiacre Parish Council since 2011 as a Councillor for the South Ward and been Chairman since 2015 representing the whole community.
I am Shadow Leader for Erewash Borough Council and a Member of Derbyshire County Council representing Sandiacre and 3 other local parishes.
I also serve the community in other ways:
- School Governor at Cloudside Academy
- Trustee and Chairman of Sandiacre Memorial Institute Management Board
- Trustee of Dr Bland’s Alms Houses Management Board
Sandiacre is a great place to live and work with lots of local facilities and a strong community spirit and I am proud to serve my community.
From time to time, I carry out street ‘surgeries’ where I knock on doors leaving you with a questionnaire and am available to talk to anyone that wishes to.

I have lived in Sandiacre all my life. I am married with grown up children and young grandchildren.
I have run a small building and ground works business since 1982.
I have served on the Parish Council since 1999 and for the last 8 years as its Vice-Chairman.
I have served on Erewash Borough Council from 2003 to 2007 and from 2011 to the present day.
I was appointed by the Parish Council as a trustee for Dr Bland's Alms Houses and a member of the Memorial Institute Committee.
My interests include gardening, sport, walking and local affairs.
I'm always available by phone or email to discuss issues and concerns of the residents.

I have lived in Sandiacre for 31 years.
I have served on Sandiacre Parish Council since 2015 and represent the Springfield Park Ward.
I chaired the Parish Council’s Planning Committee from 2015 to 2019.
I am also a member of Erewash Borough Council representing Sandiacre. I currently sit on the Scrutiny Committee, Standards Committee (Vice-Chair) and Sub for the Planning Committee for Erewash Borough Council.
In my spare time I am interested in football, cricket and walking.

I have lived in Sandiacre for around 40 years with my wife Jeanette. All of our children attended Sandiacre Schools and we still have 3 children, 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren living in Sandiacre so I want to help make it be as good as it can be, for now, and in the future.
I bring a wealth of experience to my position as a Councillor, with time in Building, Education, Prison Visiting and working with Young Offenders. I hope this will enhance what I am able to offer to the Parish Council.
Many will know me for building a Neighbourhood Watch and Friendship Hub based in the local church buildings. It is getting to know the Sandiacre people that drives me to do all I can to help make a better Sandiacre for all.

I have lived locally for thirty years and am married with two grown up children.
It is my aim to contribute positively to the benefit of the Sandiacre Parish in order to maintain a good environment and facilities for our future generations. I represent the West Ward which directly neighbours Risley, where I am the Chairman of the Risley & Hopwell parish council.
I am an accountant, having retired from full time employment in 2016 after holding a number of finance director roles.
My leisure interests include travel, walking, gardening and conservation.
